I know a lot of great architecture and architectural advances were made during the Middle Ages. Also, I know that the big region was divided up into many little territories. I would like to know more about the architecture and if any of the Gothic cathedrals that were built are still standing and what their secrets were. Also, I would like to know more about the government and more about who split the region up and who got the take control of each region.

I know that the Christian church became the dominating religious and political construct of the Middle Ages. I would like to find out how Christian beliefs parallel the oft secular political generalities of the time. How did the separation of Church and State hundreds of years later go down?

I know more about the world in the middle ages, but only a little bit in Europe. During the Middle Ages, there were the Vikings who traded some but more big sea voyagers. Even the Holy Roman Empire with Charlemagne was there. Other than that large cathedrals come to mind.

I would like to learn about the trading that happened between the countries. Also, I want to learn more about the Holy Roman Empire.

I know that the term "Dark Ages" is kind of a inapt title for this time period. Also it is called the Dark Ages not because dark things happened during this time but because there aren't many sources to tell archeologists and scientists about this time period. I also know that the Middle Ages are often represented as barbaric and primitave with swords and castels and knights and such. I would like to learn why it was so easy for the Church to rise to power from almost nothing. Also, how did the religious precentage of the world change during this time period (drastic or gradual)?

The Middle Ages was a time of learning and great advancements in architecture, weaponry and many other fields. It was also a time of war, with many peoples such as the Vikings fighting by sea and raiding the countryside. I would like to learn more about the literature of the Middle Ages, which included great authors such as Dante and Chaucer.

I know that the Middle Ages is usually known as the Dark Ages of Europe. It is called this because there was not much learning or anything going on, just some fighting over territories. I know there were lots of little territories, and the Middle Ages ended with the Renaissance. I want to learn what the main counties or territories or whatever were, how they were governed and how the Renaissance started.

I know that it started around 410 and began with the Dark Ages. During the Dark Ages there were famines, wars, and plagues. The Normans introduced the feudal system, with slaves, peasants, knights, and kings. Peasants in France revolted first around 1358 and the peasants in England fought about 23 years later. I want to know about the religion spread around that time and about how schooling worked.

I do not know very much about the Middle Ages. I know it was called the 'Dark Ages', but only because we don't know much about the time. I would like to learn more about the major powers of the period and how they were influenced by the cultures we have previously studied.

I know that the Middle Ages started around 1000CE. Often, this time period is called the "Dark Ages", but this is not accurate, as regions outside of Europe were not in a "Dark Age". During the middle ages, Europe was hit by the Black Death/Bubonic Plague, which killed a huge amount of people. In this time, the Christian church was extremely powerful in Europe.
